(Photo / Provided by ITRI)The 9th Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo took place from December 4 to 7 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, featuring a series of professional medical technology presentation sessions on its opening day.
Among the highlights was the Achievement Presentation held on December 4 for the "Innovative Medical Product Market Access Value Upgrade Project," a project initiated by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (IDA, MoEA), and jointly executed by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC). With "domestic adoption" and "international clinical validation" as its core strategies, the project supports innovative medical products that have already secured TFDA approvals.
Huede Tech (慧德科技) was invited to join this year's exhibition alongside other prominent alumni and long-term partners, including Acer Medical, Invetec, TaiHao Medical, Juming Medical, and Biomdcare. The project has dynamically assisted these leading teams in conducting market access feasibility assessments, linking with international smart medical clinical sites, and accelerating the inclusion of Taiwanese innovations into local hospital procurement lists and insurance coverage.
Since its launch in 2023, the project has supported at least 20 domestic smart medical enterprises, accelerated the market access deployment of over 25 innovative medical products globally, and driven research investments and related production value exceeding NT$100 million.
As global reimbursement for innovative medical products becomes a standard trend, demonstrating clear clinical benefits and economic value remains the ultimate key to expanding international markets. Huede Tech will continuously leverage its expertise in smart critical care and AI clinical applications, strengthening its clinical data and business models to expand its footprint in the global healthcare ecosystem.
